Flowers the color of August bees 🐝…sacred corner of eavesdropping…curls with their own agenda…eyes on the water is often pivotal…it’s wise to sip on whatever the sky sends you…hues of river grey…yellow finds yellow…the mustard seed! This whole piece is so lovely 💛

Oh Kate, I love this! So many lovely moments/details. "Yellow finds yellow." But more importantly, "getting eyes on water." I loved doing it when I lived in the city. Still do it now, just a different segment of the Hudson River. "It’s wise to sip on whatever the sky sends you." So true. Come north and experience some snow. It is looking like the cover of The Snowy Day here these days.

Too many people resist the sky. YES. I think all my people are sky people. I also heavily relate to getting my eyes on the water whenever I am resisting something or don't know what else good to do for myself. 🩵 I love reading these snippets of your NYC life. Following a color, what a way to spend a day. 💛✨
